A box-packaging robot that can infer 3D articulated objects with Conditional Random Field, SVMstruct, and mixed-integer program from 3D point cloud. Our paper was published in RSS Workshop. Integrated robots with Openrave/ROS for obstacle avoidance and robot arm trajectory planning.

AdPear is a mobile advertising platform that serves pairs of polls and ads to engage the users and to make mobile ads serving more personalized than ever before. As its co-founder and CEO, I designed user interface, product features, and user experience for higher mobile ads engagement rates.

DeepO

I co-initiated the team DeepO with the goal of designing a generative model that learns and produces unlearned words or sentences in realistic human voices. We programmed Restricted Boltzmann machine, Deep Belief Network, and signal processing modules to let deep learning’s powerful feature extractors to capture human voices’ unique features.

Intern at Google Youtube Adsense & Featured Video

Analyzed the click through rate (CTR) performance of the YouTube recommendation system. Trained the learning and inference model on large amount of input data with mapreduce. Inserted novel features into the recommendation system with great improvement on video page views.

Matlab code for transforming Google Sketchup data into 3D point cloud files. Users can specify observing points and density of the ray casting.
